QUEST PLUS Gel equine dewormer is recommended for the end of grazing season. According to the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) Parasite Control Guidelines, small strongyles are the most important parasite to target with treatment in horses 9 months of age and older. The AAEP Guidelines also consider moxidectin – the primary active ingredient in QUEST PLUS Gel – the experts’ treatment of choice against small strongyles (both adults and encysted larvae).

The AAEP Parasite Control Guidelines also recommend treating horses for tapeworms once per year, because tapeworms are, “…relatively common and widely distributed, have a strong seasonality of transmission, have potential to cause disease, and are difficult to diagnose…”. The second active ingredient in QUEST PLUS Gel, praziquantel, is considered a drug of choice to treat tapeworms.1
